My Story

I'm a Business & Personal Coach, passionate about personal empowerment, reaching for what we want, and achieving our goals and dreams. I'm also passionate about thriving personally and professionally, business success, career success, and "being respected for what we bring to the table, our knowledge, experience, talents and skills."

In addition to being a seasoned coach and mentor, I have 30+ years business experience. I've experienced both the excitement and challenges of the business world, working for both large companies and small businesses, co-owning and managing our family business, and owning a small business creating and selling art both online globally and in-person locally. Throughout my career I experienced many successes and challenges while moving up the ladder in a male-dominated field.

I've held positions of leadership as Purchasing Manager of sixteen direct reports; Customer Service Manager; Director overseeing five departments and on many large-scale projects, such as building, opening, expansions and renovations of hotels, casinos, and restaurants. I've been fortunate to have received awards and commendations throughout my career, including the President's Award for my role as a team member tasked with taking a company of 300 employees from failing to profitable and preventing it from closing. In addition to my business experience, I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations.

I'm a working mom like many women who want the best for their families and who are also striving to have a career and navigate work-life balance. One of my biggest struggles is working from home. I can get easily distracted. I'll eat lunch then find myself washing dishes or I hear some noise outside and find myself looking out the window to see that it's just a squirrel jumping on the birdfeeder. What do you find challenging?

I recently embarked on a project that I'm very excited about: Creating Worksheets and Courses to Help You Achieve Your Business and Career Goals. Starting a business, running a business, or navigating a career can be time consuming and sometimes overwhelming, especially if you are doing it alone. I've found through my coaching that although we may have different experiences and goals, we often face the same challenges. I've met so many people that have great ideas but aren't sure where to start or how to get answers to their questions.

My goal is to offer you support and guidance, to help you achieve your goals and get to where you want to be, to spark new ideas you may not have thought of, ask thought-provoking questions, offer information, suggestions, ideas and questions to help you sort it out, bring to light challenges you may encounter, for you to question if you want to do those things that need to be done to be successful, and to save you time by helping you get answers to your questions. And most important, empowering "You to be You" and create your own "Success Stories."

It's true that we can accomplish amazing things when we have support and guidance. It's empowering, motivating, and rewarding. Support and guidance can come from many different sources: friends, family, coworkers, teachers, mentors, coaches, LinkedIn and Facebook groups, learning. Take advantage of your resources, don't be afraid to ask for help or ask questions. Wishing you the best.
