I'm a Business & Personal Coach passionate about empowering ourselves and others, being our true, authentic self, and reaching for what we want.
I first fell in love with coaching when I attended an intensive coaching and mentoring program. I've always enjoyed sharing my experience and knowledge to help others succeed and grow in their endeavors. Early in my career I was fortunate to have two women mentors. I experienced firsthand the benefits of having a mentor. Because of their willingness to teach me what they knew, I moved up the corporate ladder quickly.
I went on to have a successful 30+ year career in business (twenty years in supply chain). I experienced both the excitement and challenges of the business world, working for both large companies and small businesses, managing our own small business, and having a microbusiness selling art. I experienced many successes while moving up the ladder in a male-dominated field and also experienced many challenges along the way.
I've held positions of leadership in Supply Chain, Customer Service, and on many large-scale projects. During my employment at Foxwoods Resort Casino, in addition to holding the position of Purchasing Manager overseeing a staff of 16 members, I also participated in numerous projects, openings, expansions and renovations of casinos, hotels, and restaurants. After Foxwoods, I was hired by a failing company as part of a management team who were tasked with taking the company from failing to profitable. My role was to get spending and costs under control and improve profits. Our team was successful, and it was a wonderful experience to work together to ensure the company did not close its doors.
With many years' coaching/mentoring experience and training, it was a natural transition to become a Business & Personal Coach. I love that I get to know so many wonderful people. I also love to learn and continue my coaching and business education on a monthly basis. In addition to my 30+ years of business experience, I hold a Bachelors of Business - Business Administration, Management and Operations, and attended ECSU's Visual Arts and Design program.
